Compassion Community Nights
AT C4, AUDITORIUM B
2015-16 Dates: November 27, January 29, March 11, May 27
A night of opportunities for individuals or groups to serve together doing projects supporting C4’s local and global partnerships
Various stations including plarning mats for the homeless, knitting/crocheting baby items, assembling the gift for C4’s christmas day dinner guests, writing advocacy letters, making and signing encouragement cards, creating care baskets for our missionaries, etc
Fridays at C4
Each Friday, a team is available to meet with people of the local community who have needs for financial help with things like groceries, gas, etc. They will sit with you to hear your story, offer some resources, and pray with you if you are willing.
This group allows the people of C4 Church to share needs and abilities with one another. You can request items you need, give away items, or help each other with personal service projects. Anyone who goes to C4 can join.
Alpha is an opportunity for everyone to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening setting over 10 thought-provoking weekly sessions and an optional day away. It’s low-key, friendly and fun! Alpha is open to anyone, and is free – including a delicious dinner each week! Spring sessions are offered Thursdays starting April 20.
Community Christmas Dinner
We host a Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day each year including a free meal, gifts, music, and fun for those who do not have another place to go to celebrate. This could be newcomers to the area, people in crisis or difficult circumstances, or those without family nearby.
In the C4 Lobby
The City of Hope Donation Depot is located south of the main doors in the C4 Church lobby. We collect non-perishable food items and gently used clothing and pass them along to individuals and organizations that help to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of those in our community.
COH Donation Depot operating hours are 30 minutes before and after Sunday morning services. (Sundays 8:30- 9:00 am, 10:30-11:30 am, and 12:30-1:00 pm)
