Woman2Woman Update

“What is one thing you would want on a desert island?”, “What is your favorite movie?”, and  “What is your favorite scripture and why?” are just a few of the questions we answered at our September Celebration. We had a lot of fun getting to know each other and finding out some interesting things about people we thought we knew. We heard a challenge from Bobbie Sharp about unity and love for one another. If you missed being there, mark your calendars for some other fun events that the women of C4 have planned.  December 11th will be our “Christmas Mugging”, and February 17th is “It’s a Girl Thing”.

A few weeks ago there was a survey of the women at C4 about things they might be interested in. We have had people express an interest in Walking/Stroller Bible Study group. If you are interested in that, please contact Kerry Thornton at 303-6609. We also had people interested in a Christian aerobics class. We currently do not have a leader for that, but if you would like to help get that started, please contact Roxie Bittner at roxbit@hotmail.com.

A Sunday morning fellowship time for women was also an idea that had quite a bit of interest. Again we do not have a leader for this. Perhaps this is something that God is calling you to do. Meeting on a regular basis with other women, sharing of cup of coffee and encouragement for the week could be life changing. Will you prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to this ministry?
