Celebrate – (Worship) Passionate worship is a must for all Christ followers.
Capital
City puts a high emphasis
on the worship experience and seeks to engage the heart, the mind and the soul. Worship will seek to be visual, emotional,
and musical in order to inspire worship to continue in the every day life of a Christ follower.
Connect – (Community and Growth) - The Bible teaches
that the best way for growth and maturity is through intimate connections with
a Connect Group. A Connect Group is made up of regular people that meet on a regular basis in
different areas around town. They pray for each other, grow together, care for
each other and study the Bible together. It’s a place where people can be real
and learn and grow in a safe environment.
Contribute – (Serving, Giving, Living) – Each
believer is called to serve inside the church, using their God-given talents,
abilities, and resources to build and grow the church.
As the human body cannot operate fully without an eye, a hand or a
lung, the church cannot fully function unless all members are playing
their part in serving God.
Care – (Missional living and loving) – We are
called to love and care for people. We
will seek to care for people inside and outside the church. The greatest, most wonderful way to care for
someone is by sharing the most wonderful gift of Jesus Christ with others. Passionate followers of Christ are passionate
about caring for people and for those that don’t know Christ. We will also seek to be a shining light in
our community and minister to the needs of the community around us.
