Unleashed Campaign

November 18, 2007 was a historic day in the life of Capital City Christian Church (C4). On this day, the community of Christ followers at C4 joined together in a large display of faith, dedication and commitment in advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ and His church.

In an effort to advance our church and further our effectiveness in reaching the community of Raleigh and the greater Triangle area, the leadership of C4 felt led by the Holy Spirit to organize a campaign to upgrade the facilities.

The original goal was to raise an additional $200,000 over and above our annual budget. The C4 family soared past this goal.

As a result of our journey of faith, the C4 family pledged an additional $308,000 over and above our normal giving for the next 18 months. We are truly a congregation UNLEASHED.

The critical facility areas slated for improvement are:

Youth Ministry: Student Ministry Center/Matchbox
Children’s Ministry: Playground Area
Worship Ministry: Worship Center
Welcome Ministry: Welcome Center, Fellowship Hall and patio area outside
Overall Ministry: Cosmetic uplift of buildings, painting, landscape, road repair


The leadership, elders and staff are overwhelmed by the display of commitment given by the C4 family to accomplish these upgrades. As a result, we will strive to be excellent stewards of the resources pledged toward this campaign and continue to communicate progress in each ministry area.

We ask that all who call C4 their church home to follow through on their pledges as we have made decisions based on these commitments. We are committed to keeping the campaign funds and the general funds completely separate so ask that when donating you please note if your pledge is for the UNLEASED campaign or directed to the general fund.
